A bot infusion made from the leaves of a South American holly generically called yerba, grass. Because it is sipped from a gourd called mate, it is also known as yerba mate. At Ultramarinos we follow Uruguayan and Argentinian yerba mate etiquette, and brew the infusion in a gourd to be sipped from a brew called bombilla.
